Writer of Horror Fiction

Cover of “A Glitch In The Continuum”, a new time travel anthology coming out soon!

I am pretty excited about this one.  I wrote a time travel story a while back entitled “Intervention”, which Wayne Goodchild was gracious enough to accept into his time travel anthology.  But this isn’t just stories about time travel, but stories about when time travel goes wonky and things get screwed up, both now and then, or is that then and now?  I’m not quite sure, but it was certainly fun thinking up the consequences behind manipulating the time streams.  I was pretty proud of my little story and was thrilled to find out that it would appear in the book, and first in the table of contents no less.  The cover has just been revealed and the book should probably be released later this summer.  It is a bit of a departure from my traditional horror story M.O., I know, but I was excited to stretch myself a bit with a twisty little tale of the present and future colliding.

Without further ado, here is the wrap around cover!

More details to follow.  I hope plenty of you will be interested in checking this one out.

  1. Congratulations Patrick on both the acceptance and also writing the premier story! I too am looking forward to this anthology, it’s my first work to be published! (I’m author #10). Mine deals more with alternate dimension than time travel, but I hope you enjoy it as I am eager to read yours and the other short stories. Hats off and special thanks to Wayne Goodchild and Alexandra Duma-Dancai for the cover art! Take care!

    • Thanks! I’m looking forward to it as well. I look forward to checking out all the different stories. My guess is they will all be pretty wild and different, which should be a lot of fun! I’ll make sure to be on the lookout for your story. Can’t wait!

Congrats. This will be my first story published. Any more news on when it will be released? I was doing a search and found your blog.

Thanks. I’m on the list, but wasn’t sure how long the publishing process was (no experience in that at all). Can’t wait to read the other stories.

  4. It can be crazy waiting, but Wayne’s updates are far better than what you typically get from a lot of editors. I know someone telling you to be patient is kinda tough to hang on to, but this one has progressed much more smoothly than a lot of other projects I have been involved with. Little solace, but it will get out there, and when it does, and you have your contributor’s copy in hand, it will all have been worth it!
